We absolutely love diving, and Las Catalinas Islands is one of those places we keep coming back to. There's just something magical about gliding through the water and being surrounded by incredible marine life. Imagine swimming next to a curious turtle, spotting a sneaky octopus tucked into a rocky crevice, or being completely mesmerized by the way rays seem to fly through the water. We've even had a few unforgettable encounters with reef sharks and, on the luckiest days, graceful manta rays.
The dive shop we partner with has over 20 years of experience. Their spacious boat comfortably accommodates up to 19 divers and 15+ snorkelers, featuring an onboard toilet, plenty of snacks, and refreshments throughout the trip.
If you're up for a real thrill, we can look for availability on a special trip to the Murciélago Islands, where you could come face-to-face with bull sharks—one of the most exciting dives we've ever done!

Amazing!
This was such an amazing experience! This was my first time scuba diving and our guides Eze and Samu were very helpful. They broke everything down for you and make it very easy to understand how the day will go and the steps you need to take in the water. The pictures they took turned out amazing I would definitely recommend this company for great instructors and great underwater scenery!

Easy for beginners
Took my son for his first dive while in Costa Rica. This dive center was excellent. Our instructor Eze was very thorough and kept a close eye on my son to make sure he was comfortable. He also pointed out a ton of things we missed during our dives. I would definitely recommend these guys.

Do I need to be a certified diver to join?
Not at all! If you’ve never dived before, no worries - the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience is perfect for beginners. You’ll be guided every step of the way, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly you feel comfortable underwater.
What can I expect to see underwater?
The ocean here is full of life! We’ve had some amazing encounters with turtles, octopuses, rays, eels, and colorful schools of fish. On especially lucky days, we’ve even seen reef sharks and manta rays. Each dive is a little different, which is part of the fun—you never know what incredible creatures you’ll meet!
Is diving safe?
Safety is this company’s top priority. They are passionate divers themselves, so they know how important it is to feel comfortable and secure underwater. They will give you a thorough briefing before the dive, provide top-notch equipment, and be with you throughout the entire experience to make sure you’re safe and having a great time.
What if I want to get certified or take a course?

What should I bring?
They will have all the gear covered, so you just need to bring your sense of adventure! It’s a good idea to pack sunscreen, a hat, a towel, and maybe a hair tie for the ladies. Oh, and don’t forget your excitement—diving here is something special.
Is there Wi-Fi on board?
Nope! Once out on the water, it’s all about disconnecting from the outside world and connecting with the ocean. Trust us, you won’t miss it once you’re surrounded by that blue water and marine life!
What kind of food is on board?
The food is simple and refreshing - there’s fresh fruit and biscuits to snack on. Perfect for a little energy boost in between your dives!
Will there be life vests on board?
Yes, absolutely. Safety is always this company’s top priority, so they make sure everyone has access to life vests and other safety equipment on board.
What if it rains?
Rain? No problem underwater! Once you’re diving, it doesn’t make much difference. But if the weather conditions are unsafe for the boat, they will cancel the trip. Your safety always comes first.
